Description du poste
We are currently seeking a full time Loads & Control Engineer to develop design improvements to the turbine dynamic controller. You will be joining our team at a particularly exciting time as we commence the construction of the ‘Orbital O2-2000’ turbine, the UK’s first floating tidal stream turbine to go into commercial production. The O2 is due to be completed during 2020 with a scheduled deployment at EMEC for commissioning and testing. The role will be primarily focused on optimising the turbine dynamic controller for use on a floating structure in the tidal environment, but will also involve supporting the testing of the O2-2000 turbine in Orkney.
