Background
The 6th annual Marine Energy Technology Symposium (METS) will be held as part of Waterpower Week in Washington on April 30th – May 2nd, 2018, at the Capital Hilton Hotel in Washington, D.C. The call for technical presentations and poster sessions have been launched.
Specific areas of interest are:
- Engineering research, development, and demonstration of systems and components through simulation, laboratory experiments, and field testing
- Assessment and characterization of resources through simulation and field measurements
- Identification, monitoring, and mitigation of environmental effects
- Economic assessments
- Societal research and policy developments related to marine energy
