The University of Texas at Dallas is seeking a highly-qualified postdoctoral research fellow in the area of aeroelastic modeling and design optimization of floating offshore wind turbines.
This position is in support of a new multi-institution project lead by UT-Dallas funded by ARPA’E’s Atlantis program in the area of floating vertical axis wind turbines. Candidates should have interests and expertise in analysis and design of aero-elastic systems; more specifically, candidates should have background and interests in aerodynamics, structural dynamics, dynamic modeling, and optimization.
