Key characteristics
The academic consortium (UN/ Université Gustave Eiffel/ICAM) have 6 removable set-up to interrogate optical Fiber Bragg Gratings. This set-up park allow static and dynamic measurements (500 HZ bandwidth). The sensitivity is around 0.1°C in temperature and 1 µepsilon in strain. The abilities of measurement are supported by the expertise of 20 Years old in metrological measurement on optical fiber developed by the scientist investigated in the academic consortium.

The Optical set-up are removable and can be used on a specific test site for in situ measurements, but they can also be linked to the test set-up available in the laboratories of the consortium: strain test, fatigue test, corrosion test, climatic room…
