Survey – OPIN CIG – Corrosion in reinforced concrete structures used for offshore renewables

The Ocean Power Innovation Network (OPIN) is an international network dedicated to offshore renewable energy, offering free activities to its +450 members. As part of OPIN, a Collaborative Innovation Group (CIG) is ongoing, dealing with Corrosion in reinforced concrete structures used for offshore renewables, and led by WEAMEC.

We are conducting a survey on current practices for corrosion protection of offshore reinforced concrete structures. The aggregated results of this study will be analysed and compiled in an OPIN report to be published in the course of 2022. This report will aim at identifying future R&D paths to reduce corrosion costs for offshore renewables. Please fill in your email at the end of the survey if you want to receive a public version of this report.

The information provided will be treated as strictly confidential and only used for the specific purposes of this research. The answers will be analysed statistically and your anonymity will be fully respected.

Thank you in advance for your answers to this questionnaire, which will last approximately 10 minutes.

For any other comment or information, please do not hesitate to contact WEAMEC (Laura-Mae Macadré laura-mae.macadre@weamec.fr) and the Ocean Power Innovation Network at OPIN@seai.ie
