As a leader in floating, offshore wind energy, Principle Power is focused on the commercial-scale deployment of floating wind farms. The successful candidate will sit in the Technology Group of the organization and work on the engineering and design of the next generation of offshore floating wind turbines.

In particular, the candidate will be responsible for managing three primary work topic areas:
- Floating Offshore WindFarm Siting engineering services and tool development
- European Floating Wind R&D grant tracking, proposal management, technical study management and engineering support
- Processing and analysis of WindFloat asset data for use in engineering model validation and product development workstreams
The successful candidate will interface directly with engineering, strategy, and operations teams to prioritize and execute high importance R&D and engineering services. The candidate will also manage many external interfaces as they manage federal grant applications and serve as principle technical investigator on European grant-based R&D collaborations.
The individual will need to be a self-motivated individual who is able to work independently and take ownership of the multiple R&D and engineering workstreams. This role will be highly visible and the ability to influence key stakeholders without direct authority is paramount. This person will report directly to the Vice President of Technology.
