Training via research is an important part of building a strong and constantly developing ecosystem in the Marine Renewable Energy (MRE) field. Numerous PhDs are under way or have been carried out within the WEAMEC ecosystem in the framework of research laboratories or specific projects. These “upstream” studies often lead to MRE innovation projects.
