Test facilities
Another strength of the WEAMEC ecosystem lies in the unique and world-class test facilities present in the Pays de la Loire. Some of them are mainly dedicated to Marine Renewable Energy (MRE) and, more generally, to ocean engineering. Others are not specifically devoted to MRE, but can be particularly adapted to certain research and innovation issues for MRE. These large testing facilities are also used in the training of our students.
