Background
This symposium is dedicated to Active Flow Control on wind turbine blades including everything that can help to progress in a smart and active management of the flow around wind turbine blades.
This could include for instance new device systems (actuators/sensors), modelling of active devices, modelling of unsteady blade aerodynamics, low order models, transfer function identification, robust control, etc.
To attend the mini-symposium, it is mandatory to submit a 1 page abstract. The abstract deadline submission for the mini-symposia is extended to the 1st March. Send your abstract to : caroline.braud@ec-nantes.fr
The Symposium will take place at University College Cork, who are hosting the Wind Energy Science Conference (WESC) on behalf of the European Academy of Wind Energy (EAWE) in June 2019. This conference will offer a multi-disciplinary open forum for discussion for all scientists and engineers working in the field of wind energy.
