Originally scheduled to take place in Fort Lauderdale, Florida from June 28 to July 3, 2020, the OMAE 2020 Conference Committee has made the difficult decision to cancel the on-site portion of the Conference due to the ongoing COVID-19 Pandemic. As disappointed as we are to have to cancel, we are pleased to announce that in its place, ASME will host “OMAE 2020 Virtual”, an online conference that will allow authors to publish their papers, and provides a platform for the great selection of industry talks planned for the conference.
The virtual conference will run from August 3 – 7, 2020 and feature the same lineup of keynote presentations organized for the in-person conference, the Digitalization Workshop that was planned to complement the conference, as well as access to all paper presentations.
OMAE 2020 is the ideal forum for researchers, engineers, managers, technicians and students from the scientific and industrial communities from around the world to:
- Meet and present advances in technology and its scientific support;
- Exchange ideas and experiences whilst promoting technological progress and its application in industry, and
- Promote international cooperation in ocean, offshore and arctic engineering
Following on the tradition of excellence of previous OMAE conferences, more than 900 technical papers are planned for presentation.
