Identified initial trainings in the MRE field :

Ocean engineering

Five years of higher education level

Through this programme students will develop skills in naval engineering to become engineers experienced in ship operations. Taught in English

The objective of the EMSHIP education platform is to provide a high education level in Naval Architecture and Ship & Offshore Design. Taught in English. ERASMUS master.

This master specialism aims to give students advanced training on typical problems of hydrodynamics applied to naval architecture and ocean engineering: ship resistance, seakeeping, ship behaviour in irregular seas, water,  waves and marine environment… physical, modelling and numerical aspects are studied. Taught in English

Centrale Nantes trains versatile engineers of the highest scientific and technical level, with a strong managerial culture, able to place scientific subjects in a global context integrating environmental and societal issues. The general engineering programme leads to the ‘diplôme d’ingénieurequivalent to a Master of Science and Engineering. This qualification is awarded to students after a total of five years of higher education.

The Master provides the student with skills in assessment, analysis, simulation, development and exploitation of all available energy in the marine environment and in project development of safe, efficient and reliable marine energy generation plants, including operation and maintenance design and study of the integration of the plants in the electric system.. Taught in English. ERASMUS Master.

Civil engineering

Five years of higher education level

The course Public Works and Maritimes ( Travaux Publics et Maritimes) trains you to the construction (organization, design, maintenance) in maritime environment (bridge, port and dyke, offshore platform or wind, etc., in a current context where it becomes a fundamental societal stake (energy and trade).

This Master programme aims to develop scientific and technological knowledge on materials and structures in both the public works and industrial sectors. The language of instruction is English .

Maintenance

3 years of higher education level

The training provides the maintenance departments of the companies with senior technicians, future managers (after a period of integration into the function of less than 3 years).

Five years of higher education level

The Installation and Maintenance of Offshore systems option (DMO) focuses on aspects related to the deployment of offshore production plant or energy generation at sea, from marine renewable energies (MRE) for example, plant maintenance, production optimisation and supply of offshore energies, foundations and structures of offshore systems..

This program aims to train specialists in the reliability, monitoring and maintenance of renewable marine energy (RME) structures. At the end of this program, you will be able to use non-destructive testing techniques and SHM methods applied to offshore structures and quantify their added value. Taught in English

Others

Five years of higher education level

It is a transversal Master in all branches of law.

This programme trains specialists in the spacial management of coastal and maritime areas, around a very wide range of issues.
