Abstract submission

20 October 2019 is the deadline of 1-page abstract submission for participation in the Assembly on 28-29 November.

Each participant is expected to submit an abstract; the abstract should present and explain your perspective on the Working Group Topic that you have selected. This perspective should be focused towards identifying future activities that you and others may develop within and outside of the WECANet programme.

The submitted abstracts will give WECANet an overview of how all participants of this year’s Assembly will contribute to the working group workshops and discussions. The abstracts will not be followed by submission of full papers or presentations, but will be published in the electronic Book of Abstracts of the Assembly.

Mention the Working Group and Working Group Topic (see list and template) for the Assembly. Abstract submission by 20 October 2019 to: contact@wecanet.eu

Short Term Scientific Missions (STSM) grantees and hosts will shortly present the completed (in GP1) and planned (in GP2) STSMs during the Assembly.

Funding

Funding for participation in the Assembly (travel, accommodation and subsistence costs) is available for the participants of the submitted and selected abstracts.

Upon abstract acceptance (to be announced by e-mail before the end of October 2019) and after the Assembly, participants will receive reimbursement of travel, accommodation and subsistence costs as defined by the COST rules and the WECANet budget plan for Grant Period 2 (GP2).

Short course on Numerical coupling methodologies

On 27 November 2019, the day before the WECANet Annual Assembly starts, a short course on ‘Numerical coupling methodologies’ will be organised at the University of Porto. The average reimbursement per trainee (10 trainees) is 200 EUR.
