INORE is excited to announce that the 2021 Virtual Symposium will be held on November 18 at 3:00 pm GMT.
This year’s symposium will focus on the development of innovative ideas. A fireside talk will be held with Aurélien Babarit, CTO and co-inventor of the FARWIND Energy technology. In 2020 he was ranked amongst the top 2% of scientists in the world by Stanford University.
Three representatives from industries across the globe will be presenting their work:
- Rodrigo Rojas – Costa Rican Institute for Electricity representing the Pan-American region,
- Adam Stock – University of Strathclyde representing the European region,
- Terry Griffiths – Aurora Offshore Engineering representing the Australasian region.
In addition, students and early career researchers will be presenting their work in a poster session.
This will give attendees a great opportunity to build an international network centered on offshore renewable energies.
