This webinar consists of two sessions designed to provide those who are new and upcoming professional bodies interested in Offshore Wind, Wave and Tidal Energy Operations and Maintenance industry.

Presentations from the Offshore Renewable Energy Catapults ‘Operations and Maintenance Centre of Excellence’ and others will provide attendees with an understanding of the types of maintenance that is required and who is responsible for it.


Session 1 – Offshore Wind Specific – 11AM-12:30PM CEST

ORE Catapult are pleased to present a webinar on Offshore Wind – Operations and Maintenance 101. This webinar will provide those who are new to the Offshore Wind Industry with a basic knowledge and understanding of the Operations and Maintenance practises in place today. The ORE Catapult’s Operations and Maintenance Centre of Excellence will present the types of opportunities that exist for SMEs looking to apply their technology to the Offshore Wind Operations and Maintenance industry.

The webinar will focus on: 

  • What types of maintenance is required?
  • Who is responsible for the maintenance and how is it carried out safely?
  • Presentations from SMEs who have applied their Innovative technology to the industry and what obstacles they have faced.

Session 2 – Emerging Ocean Energy Technologies O&M – 2PM–3:30PM CEST

The emerging technologies of Wave Energy Converters and Tidal Stream mean that there is a developing Operations and Maintenance industry. This session will focus on what maintenance is typically required for Ocean Energy technologies and who is responsible for completing them.
